You will be staying at the Waterfront Lodge, Proudly one of the finest Lodges in Southeast Alaska. The Waterfront Lodge has some of the finest views around. Standing on your front porch you will be able to see Kupreanoff, Kuiu, Admiralty, and Baranoff Islands. Not just beautifull snow capped mountains but also views of Humpback whales, Orcas, Black Bears just to name a few. The tide litteraly will roll underneath your balcony at this spectacular beachfront Lodge. Two queen size beds that are cleaned daily, Sattelite T.V., refrgerator, coffemaker, very nice restrooms and showers with all the hot water you want. While visiting the beautifull native village of Kake you will have an oppurtunity to see some of the local sites like the worlds tallest Totem Pole as seen on THE TRAVEL CHANNEL, also see the local Gunnuk Creek Salmon Hatchery to learn about the life cycle of the Salmon as well as take plenty of pictures of Black Bears and Bald Eagles. Also check out some of our local native woodcarvers shops they will leave you in awe with their natural talents passed on from their fore-fathers. Kupreanoff Island is huge and the only village within 50 miles, so there is plenty of room to play. After the days activities are done feel welcome to take a cruise on some of the Islands hundreds of miles of road to check out the wildlife or do some more fishing in our awesome rivers and lakes. Folks we cant emphasize enough that, we are it, there is no other tourist on this whole Island We run the only sportfishing operation on Kupreanoff Island.
